My name is Mark, I’m a fully qualified electrician, and my team of solar panel
installers and I install solar power for homes in Bodmin Cornwall.
By way of reference, over the past 20 years, we have successfully completed
various electrical installations for the National Trust, the Church Authorities,
and many other satisfied clients here in Cornwall.
I mention this because solar panels should be installed by NICEIC and MCS
approved electricians and, to set your mind at rest, these qualifications are made
available on request.
We also make available list of homes, with solar panels that we installed, together
with
contact details for each client, so you can obtain a personal reference regarding the
quality of our work.
Now with the Clean Energy Cashback Scheme, when you install solar panels, the
government pays 21 pence for every Kwh of solar power you produce and these
tariffs, which average around £600 a year, are completely free of income tax.
By way of a cash incentive, the government will still pay you even if you use the
energy yourself so your income, from solar panels plus your savings, could well
exceed the average returns given above.
If you invest in solar power, the scheme will guarantee to pay you for 25 years,
and these payments are indexed linked, so the cash you earn from solar panels
will also rise with inflation.
With interest rates for savers as low as they are at the moment, and for
the foreseeable future, improving the value of your home by installing solar panels, is
most probably the best investment you could make.
Apart from a guaranteed income, and considerable savings on your electricity bills,
if you decide to sell your home then, according to the Association of Estate Agents, it
will sell faster and for a higher price if solar panels are installed.
In general terms, the basic cost of installing solar power mainly depends on the size
of the system you require, if the solar panels are installed on the roof, or in your
garden, and of course the work involved.
With solar power, the more panels you install the higher your returns and savings
will be. However, if you start with the main installation, and perhaps add additional
panels at a later date, you will need to invest around £6,000 initially.
This would see your solar panels generating free electricity for your home, and a
cash return on your investment, with regular payments under the Clean Energy
Cashback Scheme.
Then, when you’re completely satisfied with the initial installation, if you wish to
reduce your electricity bills further, and increase your Cashback payments, we can
always install more solar panels when required.
If, in comparison, our quote of £6,000 may seem rather low, I would explain that we
only install solar panels here in Cornwall (not England) so our travelling expenses
are minimal.
As a family concern, we have no secretarial staff or sales reps to employ, and no
head office to maintain. And, with a business that's entirely based on personal
recommendations, we have no advertising bills to pay.
With this in mind, if we are instructed to install your solar panels, our local team of
professional installers will guarantee a job well done, at the most reasonable rates
you can find.
If you wish to know more about installing solar panels, or the cash returns you can
expect, then just email or phone me anytime, and I’ll be pleased to answer any
questions you care to ask.
I have also included some helpful leads for you below, so if you require any further
information about solar panels, or the Clean Energy Cashback Scheme, then just
select and follow these.
